Punjab Govt Starts Rs10,000 Ramadan Relief for Registered Workers Without Rashan Card

Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has extended Ramadan relief to registered workers who do not possess a Rashan Card, ensuring they also receive financial support.

According to sources, workers registered with Social Security are now eligible to receive Rs10,000 during Ramadan. The Bank of Punjab has finalized the payment mechanism and sent six-digit PIN codes to eligible beneficiaries.

Registered labourers can withdraw their amount using their CNIC and the provided PIN code. Authorities have confirmed that there will be no deduction, and workers will receive the full Rs10,000.

More than 1.2 million registered workers are currently benefiting from the ongoing distribution process. Officials stated that this step aims to provide relief amid rising living costs during Ramadan.

Under the broader Rashan Card program, special benefits are being offered during the holy month. Instead of the usual Rs3,000, eligible workers are receiving Rs10,000 as part of the Nigehban Ramadan Package.
